Great question! I'm trying to think of when I told a lie and I can't remember, but by the definition of a lie I remember one where I didn't tell the entire truth.
A cop pulled me over for speeding. I told him the truth that I had been late coming home from a bible study where we were preparing for a mission trip. I was rushing home to spend time with my wife.
What I didn't tell him was I usually go much faster than he caught me doing.
BTW, he let off with a warning, I was doing 65+ in a 40

Cancelled flowers because I found a better price someplace else. I told the lie that my boyfriend had already ordered them and didn't want to duplicate. I am not a good liar and I rarely lie.

Sorry to disappoint yo but I don't lie. I don't trust liars and someone who will lie to you, 9 times out of 10 will steal from you.
