then go to the nearest bar, to watch some basketball, drink some beer and eat some chicken wings all for $20 and save the $280 I had left.

HA!! 29 degrees...thats nothing
It's been below 10 here for about the past week.
besides, what kind of moron goes on a fishing trip (outside!!!) and doesn't dress appropriately, wearing so little that he needs to start a fire in 29 degree weather to survive?

If it was the only means of survival I would burn 500 if necessary. Money isn't that useful to a person if they're dead.

Money doesn't burn very long, so if someone burned money to stay warm and they were cold to begin with, they probably did not get warm. I would not...there are too many other ways to get warm, like exercising!
