I have tickets to see the red hot chili peppers at coachella. To be right in front of the stage when they play that evening, I'd have to be early but how long do you think it will take before it gets really crowded in front of the stage? My friend has seen every tour, but cant remember. Please help...

if you want to be front row on the stage i would advise you to get there as early as possable if mars volta is opening for them wait untill they clear and run like hell to get up there!

I'm going to Coachella too and since it's general admission, I'm guessing you'll need to be lined up at the gate *at least* 30-60 minutes before they open to be part of the first crowd that heads toward the stage. Don't forget that a lot of people will be at the campground on-site, so they'll be able to roll out of bed and get in line in minutes.

if you have assingned seats...get there an hour or so before the show...if you just plan on being in the front row because your going to be there early...be there from the morning til night. waiting til the lights go down will not get you up front.

I'm getting a bit old for the concert scene but I'd love to see them. I used to get there before they open the doors especially if it was a general admission concert.

i`d say the earlier you get there the better
it will get crowded fast
