My dermatologist gave me some medication to apply on the face twice a day, but do you apply it RIGHT after cleansing or do you put lotion on first and THEN the medication?

The order of application depends on whether it is water base like gel or if it is a lotion. You want to use a water based product first so the skin will drink it up. The moisturizer lotion will cap it off. If u do lotion first then it won't be able to absorb water based products as well.

Medication, then lotion. The lotion will prevent the medication to properly get to your skin, which is the only way it will work.

ya medication then lotion ... the lotion might create a layer between your skin which could prevent your acne medication to even reach your pores.

Use moisturizer as a lot as you are able to. that is tremendous on your epidermis and the better area is that you are able to not in any respect placed too a lot on. i'd use the medication and then practice the moisturizer. I want Neutrogena Oil-free Moisture. that is accessible at purpose and works mind-blowing. At evening you need to placed on a evening cream. I used to apply Cetaphil PM besides the undeniable fact that it were given ridiculously expensive so I switched to trouble-free evening cream. both are available in at purpose. base line is that both paintings tremendous yet trouble-free is more low priced.
