go on line to Greek Ferries Lines,,,,,,,they show all times of arrival and departure.....It is about $90.00 round trip to Santorini on Ferry,,,,,and you get to stop t other Islands also.....Paros is wonderful...... Fast Ferry takes about 5 hours,,,,,,,the slower cheaper takes about 9 hours......but it is a GREAT trip....Check it out on line......./

it depends on the ship. from athens to santorini we were 7 hours on board. with the super fast ferry it was only 3.30~4 hours. in the second case the ticket is more expensive but it worths it.
andros is the most accessible from athens, as also paros and mykonos.
as for the cost of the travel, it depends on the season. it's cheaper on june and september.

The best islands must be Santorini, Crete, Corfu and Rhodes (and you'll get to see different types of isles that way). The closest to the mainland (you only need to cross a bridge and it's near Athens) is Euobea.

Go to Naxos, great beaches, monuments, life, and not expensive compared to the rest of the islands. It takes 3,5 -6 hours to get there, depending on the ferry you'll get.

Go to Poros. It is only 1 hour from Piraeus by Flying Dolphin and it is simply perfect. I try to make it out there a least twice a year.
