First off, why would you purposly go oput and buy a Dodge Neon? Second of all, go to the junk yard and get a used one. I am SURE that there are plenty of other Neons there, so finding one should not be a problem.

It depends on how universal the antenna is!

I've just replaced my 02 plate neon's aerial with a coat hanger, but am considering removing the aerial completely and installing one of those amplified antennas that you install just above the interior mirror. I put one on my wife's Daihatsu and it improved the reception no end. Cost about £12.00 and they don't have any protrusion to the outside of your car. (No aerial to be snapped off by the local vandals, again)

Ignore the plebs with their comments about the Neon, they're just jealous of the low price, leather, A/C, TRAC, comfort, alloys, etc.... Love mine to bits!

I used to work at aservice station and my ex was a mechanic-call a local junkyard and ask if they have a car like yours that has an aerial you can buy-if they do Good luckusually you can take it off or ask them to-you can also go to your own mechanic and ask him to get you one from a junkyard and put it on-

God, they're only like twelve bucks at the dealer. Keep the car new and stock, not redneck engineered.
