I opened a checking account with bank of america. Then the other day I received my atm card in the mail, but I threw away the paper the has the phone number to activate the card. I know I can go inside the bank and have then activate it for me, but it would be a lot easier if i could do it over the phone. SO I was wondering if anyone has the phone number that i did to call to set up my card???

That will activate your card for you. However if you do not have your PIN set up, you would need to go to a banking center anyway to pick one. Also, the customer service number depends on where you opened your account.

Incidentally, if you EVER get a message from B of A to call them about irregular activity on your check card, CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY. Happened to me this week, and someone was trying to wire hundreds of dollars from my account. They caught it, and I am very thankful.

I have that bank and I had to go inside to activate my card for the first time so that they know that its you to enter your pen code any time you need a new code you have to go in . customer servive # 18006228731
