Yes, there are gothic-like Disney Characters, such as the characters from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" or the "Corpse Bride." Both were Disney movies. Be Emily from the "Corpse Bride." That'd be awesome! She's the Corpse Bride, so you could be gothic, but still wear a dress and be fancy for the party. Or you could be Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." I like Emily best, though.
Hope I could help! Have fun!

So far Disney has not depicted the Goth trend, but you could always choose any character and make them Goth. I mean come on, a Goth Cinderellla or Belle. Have a friend do th same thing. Goth Ariel and Prince Eric.

Some Disney characters are dark, gloomy or morbid; I would not, however, say that they necessarily fit the description of 'gothic'. At least not my description, anyway.
'If the goth thing doesn't work out', as you said, just go as a fan of your favorite band. Remove the apex from a pair of tights, cut holes in the feet and voila, a new stretch shirt to go under your (favorite band's) tank top. Invest in a cheap pair of sneakers and doodle on them; the look is creative and DIY. In fact, draw on your pants and shirt too, if the mood strikes you - you would be surprised at the designs you could come up with. Buy some colored hair spray and streak your hair, add braids and clip-on hair strands. Use brightly colored eyeliner and accessorize at will (hair clips, a cute purse or wallet chain, blue nail polish, whatever). Congratulations; your number one fan costume is complete. :)

Do a Goth Cruella DeVille! She’d be so hot as a goth! Or try a Goth Genie!

Go as a goth Alice from Alice in wonderland, I see alot of people turn Alice into a Goth character, There is even a horror video game called "American Mcgee's Alice" you could go as that.
You can see what she looks like at the website below

Gargoyles. I believe it's a Disney based cartoon. At least it's on Toon Disney.
