Gravity can also be viewed as a curvature of spacetime. If you put a bowling ball on your bed, it will make an indentation around itself. If you put a marble close enough to it, the marble will roll towards the bowling ball, not because the bowling ball is "pulling" on the marble, but that the marble is falling towards the indentation that the bowling ball's larger mass has created.

Gravity is the attraction of mass to mass. Not magnetic. Example We had 2 satellites going around the poles and it required much more fuel to keep them separated.
There was when we tried to park a satellite in a synchronous orbit ,We maneuvered it to where we wanted it to be and the satellite would not set there. The gravitational pull varies as the mountains under the satellite. There were also Vallie's where u could park it with no effort .

Gravity is the force that pulls on any two objects.
It is directly proportional to the mass of each object, but proportional to the inverse square of the distance between them.

gravitational force = GM1M2 / r^2

is newtons law of gravitation.

on earth, because M1 = mass of earth is so huge, and r is pretty much constant even if you're up a mountain, this formula gives force = Mg

where g = 9.8 m/s^2 and M is the mass of the object.

Gravity is something that holds you down to the earth. But the moon has no gravity and that is why when you go on the moon you float.

The Earth is made of lots of melted iron and colbolt. So this makes the Earth like a giant magnet. And your body has iron in it. So you are pulled to the Earth. This is called gravity.
