Black is nice and cute, but if it has some white, that's really pretty. I say wear a really low black dress and a white tank top under it showing through, or a reg black dress but dress it up with a white scarf.
(This is my own opinion of style if you don't like it go with your own style :-). Good luck!)

For my junior prom I wore a black velvet knee length off the shoulders dress (my dad hated that dress) I love white though too especially when you have a good tan.

depends if I'll have my period on prom...if I do than I would not risk the white dress.
I have bad luck with white clothes...
I think a white dress with black lace looks really pretty for prom!
