My mother, even though she'd probably complain that I hesitated before choosing her. She's just never satisfied, is she? sigh. ;)

Haven't spoke to my mom in 10 years, my pet sleeps at the foot of my bed. Easier to rescue, I would say.

It may sound mean but I would choose my pets over my mother, but that is because She chose to leave me when I was 9mo and has rarely looked back. Haven't spoken to her in six years. My pets are always there for me when I'm down. But my son and daughters would have to be safe first.

My dog's too fat for me to save; I woudn't be able to get a good hold of 'im. And then my mom couldn't say I owe her with my life anymore. . . .
