If you can go to a B-School in the top 15, then it is likely that you can increase your salary by 50%-100%. It is also possible to change fields.
If you go to a ranked school outside the top 15, you can improve your salary and the kind of work you do -- but not as dramatically.
If you go to an unranked school, you might be able to get ahead at your current company -- but it won't do much else for you.
It is obvious why people want an MBA from a top school. For those not getting one at a top school -- it is less obvious, and likely that they think it will do more for them.

If you want a chance to reach the top of your potential in the business world, it's beneficial to have an MBA. If I have two equally qualified applicants for a business position, but one has a BA and one has an MBA, guess who gets the job.

MBA's are paid good amount of money and they take part in managing a company, if you are technical resource then you are restricted to your field only and scope of growth is less.

Because the world of capitalism wants roots in the society and now all culture and societies are based on trading norms rather than their original ethical standards. A trading world would require fuel to burn and help them to run on fast track.
