Don't use the CD, go online to the manufacturers website and look for Vista compatible drivers. Make sure to save them on something like a CD, otherwise you might not be able to get back online. You should always get drivers off the internet because then you'll get the most updated ones, drivers on CDs tend to get outdated quickly.

Nothing-Vista will detect and install the drivers that you need. However, I would suggest that you run the Vista Upgrade Advisor available free from Microsoft to determine exactly what flavor Vista that your computer is capable of running. (It will depend, to a large degree, what kind of graphics card you have, how much memory, and how fast your processor is. See the following link:)

the drivers should be located on your PC manufactures website Intel is a processor manufacture not a PC manufacture (HP,Dell, Compaq,Gateway,Sony) once there look up your PC model number in the help center pages and they should be able to provide you with drivers if it is a home made pc find out the brand of your network card or modem as well as the model number and your sound card manufacture and model number they should also have the drivers availible to you
