I'm a war veteran from Vietnam and do think that the Democrats are the one that should get their sh-t together and think that we are fighting a war and by fighting between ourself we are not helping our troops in harm way. I think that the Democrats are more interested in winning the election in 2008 than the war on terrorism that we are all fighting, right or wrong,, we are in war.

Ask the troops. Most of them don't think so.
No body armor? Absolute crap. Maybe some of the ones before weren't as heavily armed as they should have been, but now, most of them feel that their armor is more than adequate. At least, that's how the ones that I've talked to felt.
Geneva rules? ARE the Republicans to blame for that? Were the Democrats to blame for all the things that went wrong during WWII and the Vietnam War? No? Alright then.

Some of this is a Congressional issue, inwhich Democrats are involved, as well as the above mentioned Republicans. Some are issues dating to official policy statements made by both Congressmen and Presidents of both parties. There is no such thing as a magic wand scenario, where a particular President or Congress picked a place to have a fight. If you are that naieve, to believe such a thing, then you need some serious time in a classroom to learn more about Poli-Sci, and World History.

I'd say the democrats owe them an apology for every day trying to undermine their mission. The democrats have given up on the troops and have pretty much considered them failures (that's what Kerry said). So no, YOU owe them an apology.

Why not put this question out there to the troops who are bearing the brunt of battle right now? Why not listen to what the majority of them say? Would that not be the proper way to obtain a TRUE answer to your question?
You breathe right now because of their past sacrifices, whether or not you deserve to.

I think the entire country owes our troops an apology.

LOL yeah, i'll apologize right after you do, for undermining them and their morale, for betraying the cause they're fighting for, for giving aid and comfort to their enemies, for everything. (i'd be all day trying to get it all in.)

don't think they don't know what all of you are doing. because they do. they're watching, just like the rest of the world.

No.

But Liberal antiwar window-lickers owe them an apology for aiding and abetting the enemy and giving them comfort.
