i theory it replace into very humorous! It pisses me off that there are human beings obtainable who choose to have the financial bumped off. It replace into purely a hypothetical seem at what if 2 heterosexual adult adult males by twist of destiny kissed mutually as ingesting a Snickers bar. Their reaction replace into to do something as manly as achieveable which replace into pulling off their own chest hair. what's the super cope with that? in the event that they have been 2 gay adult adult males who suppressed their homosexuality interior the activity of staying mainstream, then that's incorrect yet that wasn't the case. The case replace into 2 heterosexual adult adult males kissed and had to do something to take back their manliness. while you're indignant that the financial considers homosexuals to be unmanly, then you definately do no longer comprehend that society has preconceptions approximately gender roles that have existed for fairly it sluggish. If a advertisement perpetuates those values, recover from it. Are we unexpectedly going to take women out of cleansing categorized classified ads? Are adult adult males now no longer the concentration of potential gadget classified ads? Does each and every advertisement would desire to be equivalent threat now? while will this Political Correctness rampage ever end?

I personally thought it was hysterical. It wasn't homophobic, it was a dig at homophobia. I don't know who got all bent out of shape about it. People need to lighten up.
I have a lot of gay friends, by the way, and I don't know anyone who objected.

i commented just after the Superbowl that people (as i did) would find it offensive to gays, and straights alike. the uproar was enough that the ad campaign has been terminated.
what WERE they thinking???
sophomoric humor, at best.
