It's only a big deal because it's my birthday. I will be having lunch with my husband and daughter. My hubby has to work that night.

Yes- I go all out for Valentines for my kids and my fiance. Along with bdays and Christmas. I go all out all the time, but those are just the days they get "extra" treatment.
I am making a nice dinner and once the kids go to bed my fiance and I will be up, watch a movie and then spend the next few hours being romantic!! Woo hoo!!
I got my fiance an Xbox 360 and the kids gots tons of stuff. We are also going to bake treats together with the kids tomorrow night for Valentines

No, it is not a big deal for me, but I have learned that it is not all about me. My wife and other women that I have dated in the past find that it is important for them to be acknowledged on February 14 every year.
The problem comes that a person (me) finds it difficult to not just give a corny gift (card, flowers, candy) just to give it. Is it all about the gift or is it good enough to say Happy Valentines Day and I Love You.
My wish is to be HAPPY that I've been blessed to be on this earth another day.
I wouldn't mind going to Bucca De Beppos, Italian restaurant. But, I know that restaurants are extremely crowded on those types of holidays.
GOOD LUCK!!!

nope its whats inside that counts, is far too commericialised, the only people valentines day is big for is the retailers....if u wanna have a quiet night in with your beloved thats lovely, just dont let the hype of valentines day make u feel guilty, what bout people who dont have loadsa money? are they any less in love than the couple who splash out on flowers, perfume etc? i love u, says it all x

I'm just hoping to get some flowers and chocolate. Since my daughter arrived 18 mo. ago, my husband I usually just exchange a smooch and a card as we really don't have money for anything else.

My wish is to get a boyfriend and have a real valentines date.

valentines day celebrations should be outlawed. to many people (usually the girls) get their hopes up high only to be let down when they don't get a big romantic date planned out for them. more people fight on valentines day than any other day. i am female and would rather my hubby surprise me with a nice date on a day he chooses. i don't want it if he feels he "has" to do it.

Well I may have a first date with someone but I don't think it would be a good time to buy flowers being its the first date and all.
