Does anyone know of some jazz music that fits that description? Along the lines of roomful of blues? Something with a good beat, and the more rockin solo's the better. Maybe a big horn section too?

Duke Robillard was the founder of Roomful of Blues. He has his own albums out and still puts on real good live shows. He plays guitar and sings. He has won W.C. Handy awards very often in the last few years. Try his Duke's Blue's album. The whole band is amazing and the whole album has a variety of styles of jazz/blues/swing styles. It's one of my favorite albums. I've had it for over 10 years and I still listen to it often. His shows are usually great too. http://dukerobillard.com/

I'm a big Danny Gatton fan and some of his recordings with his band Funhouse may fit the bill.

Look up Tower of Power.. Another might be Chris Cain or Son's of Champlin.
