Here is a link, with illustrations (not photos) of how to manually express milk. I have done this before, and it helps relieve the pressure. Good luck and hang in there!

Oh my!! You poor thing!! Do you not have a breast pump at all around the house? If so, i suggest going to go find it. The pain will be worth it. If you don't have a breast pump then run yourself a nice, warm bath as relaxtion is the key here until your baby's next feed.
Ring a friend or your mother or sister and have a talk about your breast problem. I do not know what else to suggest but i do think the bath thing is a good idea. Make sure you get a warm/hot flannel and lie it on your breast and self express some milk as this may help with the swelling.
And...DON'T PANIC!!
If your pain worsens to the point where you just can't go on then phone the local health centre or your G.P.
Keep Smiling!
Oh crap!! I didn't see the "I'm at Work". Well, er....get the day off. This is an emergency!!

go to a sink or grab a cup pop out the breast and put your hand around it and start squeezing like your milking yourself just do enough to get relief but if you keep this up you may slow down milk production since its a supply and demand situation but seriously go milk yourself and be prepared for your milk to let down in both breasts and go as much as you can as well it will hurt in the beginning if your seriously swollen and milking yourself is the best way to say it you may have to go lean over the sink in the womens room and use both hands unless you need to save the milk but squeezing the boob will help i had to do it myself a few times good luck

Try expressing some by hand. Form a "C" with your hand around your nipple. Push in and work around in a circle to express milk. Or have a warm shower, that should express some milk and relieve some of the pain.

That happened to me several times while I was at work. I went into the bathroom and squeezed some by hand into the toilet just to feel some relief. It sounds weird and gross, but believe me, you'll feel glad you did it! And your baby won't miss the milk, you will produce more with no problem.

Yes, it can. Since you are nursing on one side, you are still producing. Try to squeeze it out into a clean mixing bowl (they're big) I know this sounds gross, but it can be done with a little ingenuity. Better than getting hurt.

Your breast will not pop, but I know it feels like it will. Take a hot shower if possible! If not, put a warm compress on and then hand express a little.

You can manually express the milk. In fact, you can save it in a bottle for later use.
Take a trip to the ladies room and express it there so you will have privacy.
