I was told that Drew Brees was leveled by someone,but they didn't mention the player's name and Brees ended up with a separated shoulder.Was it a legal hit?

About as legal as it gets. It was like when Carson Palmer got injured during the playoffs last year in the playoffs. The guy collapsed under his feet, causing Brees to fall and put all of his weight on his elbow. It should heal in 2 months.

It was legal, but its not a hit that looked very clean at all it was the same hit that Carson Palmer got from Kimo Van Olhofen that tore his ACL and it was a dislocated Elbow that Brees got and he's out 6-8 weeks unfortunatly. I believe it was Suggs from Baltimore that hit him too.

Even though it is an exhibition game, its still a real football game. Most players dont go full speed by choice. A player can still go all out and sack a QB and as long as its legal in the regular season, its legal in this game too.

He dislocated his left elbow. He's a righty, so it shouldn't impact him much. Didn't watch the game so I don't know if the hit was legal or not, sorry.

While it was legal it was LAME...who needs to get their agression out THAT badly...oh yeah someone on the Chargers...they should be pissed for at least a century
