Bindy. Umm....it's Steve Irwin's daughter's name. I have no idea what it means, but maybe give her the full name Belinda and call her Bindy? It's not too stand-alone to me.

Bindy is defeniatly unusual (Croc hunter's daughter!) but I like it! Bindy Jolie is cute for middle name? Just write it down a few times and try to think of what any silly little kids may call her when she's older. Keep that in mind!

hmmm... I sort of like Bindy. But it looks cuter with and 'i' at the end, like Bindi. That's also the (late) crocodile hunter's name (Steve Irwin)
BINDI: a drop
I love it! Pick a cute middle name to top it off and you have a unique, cute, and beautiful name for a baby girl! And let me repeat GIRL ONLY!

I think Bindy is a nickname for Belinda, which means beautiful serpent.
Bindy is a cute nickname but not "real" name, in my opinion. It is too close to Wendy and Cindy, which are very out dated.
Just my opinion! Take Care! SD

I saw an interview with the Irwin family once where they talked about where they got the name Bindi. It is an aboriginal (Australian tribal) word. I don't know what specific aboriginal language it is, as there are obviously many tribes in Australia. In whatever language, it is just the word for "girl."
