How do I get a program set up ? to get sponsors....will that help the funding of the play itself ?(supplies and theater cost)

If you want to produce the play, you have to fund it yourself, or find a community theater that will co-produce it with you.

I'm not familiar with the Raleigh area, but I would see if any community theatres or possibly a banquet hall with a stage are available to use. I would suggest that you get a group of actors who are willing to chip in funds if they get to act. You could give a portion of your profit to them when the run of the show is over. Another idea would to make a program and sell ads in it.
