I was trying to put my pictures onto a cd, but it didn't work and everytime I put a cd in the drive it tells me to insert a disk! Any ideas?(I have a laptop btw)

goto>my computer>right click in drop box choose properties>click recording tab>make sure enable recordingon this drive is ticked click ok then try to burn your disc

Unfortunately even though you bought -R dvd's or cd's that doesn't necessarily mean you will be able to burn to them. I have a dell dvd+rw and I HAVE to use and can ONLY USE Maxell DVD+RW UP to 4X MAX 15pack.. Anything other than this brand and it continually says "Insert a disk". What a pain in the butt to figure out.. but once you find the disk that will burn you will have to buy only that kind of disk. Good luck.
