She is most likely a scammer. There have been many reports of this going on lately.

On a computer 'you' can not be sure.
But I do know ,,you don't send money.
Keep a dialog going and look out for the lovey dovey talk.
Photos are not conclusive IF you have ever seen a "boygirl" damn right good looking.
I know in Russia there is a 'Russian bride' fraud division..
I found my fake Russian lady by sending her flowers.
The florist advised me I got duped and reported it.

The same way you can tell if anyone's a scammer or not...there is no special rule for Nigerians.

You cannot. Depends upon if this is a harmless, moneyless exchange of correspondence or if she is "angling".
But a few pointed questions will help---find out her interests. where she studied etc. Also find out if her interest in you is genuine.
