this is my first V-day single, but what can i do to enjoy it while single. and what have you don if you were in my same situation? inaddition to not feeling bad about being single on V-day

I would go out with my other single friends. Sometimes we would go to the movie sometime we would go out dancing. Just go out and have fun with your other single friends. If you don't have any single friends rent a movie and order some pizza and enjoy yourself. .

Go to a bar or something, get a little drunk and bring 10 or 12 of the guys there home with you and have a good old fashioned gang bang. That's what my Mom does every year since my Pop's left her.

Go buy some candy and flowers and maybe a piece of nice laungerie, prepare a nice candlelight dinner and then call me and I will bring my wife over to enjoy all you have done.
Just playin, don't worry about it. Enjoy being single while you can because trust me they are very expensive.

If you have some single girl friends, hang out with them. Treat yourself to a day at the day spa or pamper yourself in some other way.
