We squandered a lot of international support relatively shortly after 9/11. We had (have) the wrong people "leading" this country for the wrong reasons. We have a public that spends more time concerning themselves with who's going to be voted best on a tv show called "American Idol" than who's best qualified to lead this country. The first time George W. Bush was
made President, it was settled in court and he won, although he actually lost the popular vote. That was in 2000. However, in 2004, our last presidential election, he actually won the vote.
We get what we vote for.....
