There is one thing that really bugs me about internet banking. That is that you can't get cash out of your computer, or pay money in. You still have to go to the cashpoint, or bank for that. Everything else about it is just great!

Of course, the days of having to visit the bank to obtain a statement print out or move money around are over! I find internet banking so very useful and I can check my finances in real time 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Frankly, I cannot imagine how I would run my money without it now. However, you have to be totally confident in the system and I guess I am until something goes wrong! I can thoroughly recommend it!

Yes, made my life much easier. The only reason I go to the bank is to get some foreign currency. The rest of the time I can do online or by post if I need to deposit a cheque.
Just make sure your PC is up to date with the secuirty pacthes. The website you go to should start with https://. Familiarise yourself with the layout of the page and make sure you look at the web address to satisfy yourself you are being directed to the correct page. If in doubt, deliberately enter in the wrong logon details - if you get a message saying anything other than 'Can't log you on because of incorrect details', don't use the website.

Yes! I've got several accounts online with HBOS, A&L and Abbey and they're all very easy to work! Just keep your passwords etc. etc. to yourself and you'll be alright! I also get investment information from several other sites and think that it really is the best thing since sliced bread!

Yes, it leaves you more time to do other things that you can't do on the net, like sleeping or socialising.
