what is going on with my blue devils in basketball ????

i'm a duke fan also.......................they need a point guard bad....even though they won the other night they struggled when they got pressed.............only thing i can say for them is maybe next year ...........they are not strong enough to do any damage in the tournament if they make it.

you are the only non-duke fan that would say something so bizarre. now, im assuming coach k is gonna get back on track with recruiting, so this may come true if they bring in some talent. but the players they have now are awful. yes they are young, but that doesnt factor in when they arent any good. everyone can see that the talent level at duke this year is as low as its ever been. i hate them, but i always speak from the heart. just like im a die hard FSU football fan, and i will tell you that we were terrible this year, and for the past 5 years at that!
and as far as "hating to be the team that draws them in the first round"..........i would rather draw them then any team that isnt a 16 seed. Duke is real bad this year and will go out in the first round (as we have seen, anyone can beat them)......if they win a nailbiter in the first, they are definitely gone in the second. they are gonna finish 20-11, maybe worse (and they should have 4 or 5 more losses)
good luck to getting back on track though, i know how it is when your team is down. just wish people would face reality (but let me say this is the first post where i have seen duke fans actually doing so, and not saying "we are still the best, wait and see")

I think that the Blue Devils need a few more pure athletes. High flyers and people that can really crash the boards. The teams that have beat them or give them a hard time are full of pure athletes and it presents some match up problems from a speed standpoint. I think they should recruit more raw athleticism next year to better match up with teams in the ACC.

Just not their year. Every elite team whether in college or the NBA eventually goes through a year where they're not that dominant force anymore. Duke is finally going through theirs.

everyone caught up to coach K. or is it the fact he cant get away with what he used to? Either way, DUke is on the fall and the Wolfpack are on the rise.

I hate Duke. But, this team isnt BAD. There YOUNG. This squad will be a sweet 16 team next year. This year, the ACC is going to BC
