Is there any software I can download to a flash drive to take to a different computer that doesn't require an internet connection and that doesn't cost any money? I just want to be able to make a few photos on my home computer into cross-stitches.
I like the internet ones, but I don't have internet at home and would like to be able to transfer them on my home computer.

I'm not sure about software that can be downloaded to a flash drive but Layden With Stitches has a list of programs that may be of interest.

Is it possible to burn the files onto a CD from one of the free programs and use it on your home PC?

pc stitch has a free trial period. Go to http://www.pcstitch.com and download the file to your flash drive, then install it on your pc.
Or get the internet for 10 bucks a month (dial-up)

Check to see if you can save it to a disk than you should be able to upload you craft photo into your computer
