On the poem "Pea Brush" what is the rhyme scheme?

rhyme scheme is ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH, etc.

As far as free to be political, I would say no because of the imagery in stanza two talking about "stifling" and "bleeding their life away." Those are very negative images and do not sound like freedom at all.
