Why do you think they call Bush ~"Dumbya"? Most everyone knows that when he was the governor of Texas, he knew more of what he was talking about and always spoke very well...only nowadays, He doesn't do as well...he does have some form of a psychological disorder that is in relations with some form of dementia, where he is in "denial"... an awful lot....which leads to why there has been a lot of finger pointing around Capitol Hill the last few years.
I think this question should've been stated as:
Why is Bush still in power??? ~LOL

Although I'm not anti-Bush...I do recognize that SOME people, President or otherwise, have the ability or lack the ability to talk spontaneously in public.
Think about the times in school the teacher says stand up and give your speech on (whatever). It would have been interesting to see if you hold yourself to the same standard.
Comparing the President's education to most would be absurd. The President holds degrees from two different Ivy League colleges in addition to a staff of those with very prestigious credentials.
Many offer their laymans advise on how we should withdraw from Iraq after having over 3,000 INNOCENT men, women, and children killed at the hands of terrorists who used Iraq as their bed of safety from the evil USA.
Of course this doesn't even come close to scratching the surface as far as the atrocities of Saddam who killed at whim and kept those who demanded the freedoms of choice in prisons unlike what you could even consider in this country.
Your question is biased and based upon rhetoric trumped up by the ilks of other ignorant types who lack the intelligence to run a blender let alone the worlds strongest country!
Thanks for the 2 points!

Not to defend Bush, but every U.S. President probably from the first, George Washington, had someone write speeches for them. It's called politics. You want to put your best foot forward. That's how the game is played in Washington D.C. and every state capital.

Presidents are not as smart as they are. In fact, EVERY world leader is like that. They have a huge staff that take care of them...from wiping asss to feeding soup. All the presidents/dictators/rulers have to do is say "yes" or "no" and sign papers and shiit like that.

The reason he can't be left without a script is because he's dumber than cardboard. If people don't tell him what to say he becomes flustered and begins to make up words or say stupid things that will get him in trouble.

LOL! If you were a Presidential "handler," would you?
Is this supposed to be some criticism of Bush? I know of one former President who got absolutely red-faced when he found himself on Fox news off-script.
