Jaime, I agree. It had potential but it just never really materialized. It was pretty to look at anyway =)

A Scanner Darkly is supposed to be one of those "make you think"/"inner message" movies, kinda like Fight Club. i agree that it kinda lacked in plot but the concept was good and the illustartion was innovative. with more development in the story it could have been an awesome movie but sadly it fell way short.

You may not be able to get those 90 minutes back but at least you can get some gratification by snapping the DVD in half.

I was kind of confused by it too, but I think that it probably makes more sense with repeated viewings. Of course, if you don't like it the first time, repeated viewings probably won't happen.

Yeah that movie..was a wild trip and really didn't get anywhere..by the end! I felt wasted as well
