kenny williams did a horrible job this off season first thing i would have done is get rid of anderson and get a veteran like bernie williams

Can't agree with you there...I would rather see Steve Finley because at least he can cover the ground that Bernie Williams hasn't covered in years.

Williams did make a lot of head-scratching trades and signings this offseason. But he did bring in a vetrean in Erstad, which in my opinon is a solid pickup if he can stay healthy. Willams is past his prime and got a minor league offer from the Yanks and he declined. So it is most likely he will end up retiring. Judging by the trades and FA signings Kenny made this offseason, he wants young guys and added depth and Erstad, Anderson, and Sweeney will battle it out for center and possibly left is Pods hasn't fully recoverd or struggles. So which would lead to Kenny offering Bernie an almost identical contract that the Yankees did.

A few things.
1) There weren't a lot of CF options on the market this offseason.
2) Giving up on a young guy like Anderson for an aging player like Bernie is a bad idea.
3) Bernie isn't going to play for another team and even if he did, he's over the hill, he's better suited as a fourth or fifth outfielder at this point in his career.
4) The team acquired Darin Erstad who can play Gold Glove defense in CF for the team and can probably provide some pop as well.
5) I think the White Sox will be fine, Anderson is going to get better--you can't give up on a guy for having a rough rookie season...he had some huge expectations right out of the gate. Lots of rookies struggle early on...you can't give up on them.

Need 2 outfielders Scott Pod. lame also just had leg surgery.....think we might have to listen to them scrubie fan say were better than u ................that's OK i got a 1 finger salute for them.................LOL

They already have Scott Podsednik as their center fielder. He has great speed and bunt ability.
