It's around 3-4 hours of highway driving, followed by 30-40 minutes of driving through Ft. Myers to get to the island. If you're going to spend a night or two I would recommend it, because Sanibel and Captiva are amazing. If it's a day trip, no way.

Roughly 2 and a half hours if you arn't caught in traffic. Sanibel Island is very beautiful but the last time I went there was before the storms that passed through there, so I don't know the condition right now.

Around 4hrs, traffic. This place, $6.00 toll, is like, bike riding, quaint, trendy, OK. Live in Florida, go to Naples, Cove Inn. This area, half hour from Everglades, Marco Island. Its a place if you want, uneventful...... Picturesque, nice boutiques, eateries, quiet, enjoy.
