If this is something done by looking only I would wonder how controlled the test or experiment was. If the photo was hand held I would then wonder if in fact the individual was using some kind of heat treatment that would affect this change

I'm afraid I didn't understand your question too well...
Telekinesis: The moving of an object without touching it by using the power of the mind. I don't think it's a form of telekinesis because TELE = Distance, and Kinesis = movement => referring to mind movement without touch.
Sounds more like, "Psychokinesis" instead... which is: "The mind's ability to manipulate the physical world. This phenomena can occur spontaneously, or in a voluntary manner." (Yes, apparently this IS different to telekinesis)...
According to Wikipedia:
Psychokinetic abilities
* movement of matter (telekinesis)
* object deformation (including metal softening and bending)
* influence events
* biological healing
* teleportation (disappearing and reappearing elsewhere)
* phasing through matter
* transmutation of matter
* shape-shifting
* control of magnetism
* control of photons (light waves/particles) - [sounds like this answers your question]
Telekinetic abilities
* movement of matter (micro and macro; move, lift, agitate, vibrate, spin, bend, break, or impact)
* self levitation (including flying)

If you are talking about someone changing a photograph without touching it then yes, it would be telekinesis. Actually, it would be psychokinesis, most Parapsychologists have stopped using the term telekinesis in favor of the parent term of PK.

That's called photosynthesis. Plants do it all the time. That's why film needs to be stored indoors.

are we talking about a developed, physical picture? Or are we talking about "impressing" a picture on unexposed film?
