i have a dell dimension 3100 still under warranty and I want to fit in a graphics card so I could play games much better but I heard that if you open the case, the warranty would get void. If this is true, is there anyway that I can add a graphics card to my pc.

You must open the case in order to install a graphics card.

I would do it anyway, you must likely won't use the warranty anyway. Regarless, you might want to contact dell or e-mail them and ask them. Just to make sure

you can't open it yourself. call dell and see what would be an acceptable solution, you might be able to take it someplace like best buy and have the geek squad do it.
