What was Isaac Newtons law of gravitation, In it what did he say about the Moon regarding its falling towards the earth?

The law states that the gravitational force between two objects is always attractive and directly proportional to the product of their masses, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. It doesn't say anything about the moon falling towards Earth, in fact the moon is moving away from Earth (very slowly).
