Mitt Romney is honest and has integrity.

He also led the most democratic state in the Union (Massachussets) as a republican, as previously stated. What the previous response didn't state is that during his term as governor of MA, he turned a several-billion dollar budget deficit (spending more than you make) into a 1-billion dollar surplus (spending less than you make) WITHOUT raising taxes!

He led the Bain corporations as CEO/President for several years. He was hired on to fix the companies and make them profitable, which he did beyond everyone's expectations.

After the scandals surrounding the 2002 Winter Olympics, he was brought on as the lead chairman to do the same thing (turn the thing around) and made the '02 games the most successful Olympic games the US has ever had in terms of profitability, accessibility, TV ratings, etc... all in Salt Lake City, the smallest US metropolitan area ever to host the Olympic games.

I'm from Boston and he was our Governor. Unfortunately for him he was a republican in a democratic state and couldn't really effect what he wanted to do. That being said, what he could accomplish he did very well. I think he has great character and legitimately wants the best for the US. I think he is worthy of your attention and research to see if he would be a good president. Good for you for asking the question. Most people just go by party lines.

Gee, if you type "Mitt Romney" in your search box, you might get a good, complete answer! The Romneys are just another old school political family like the Bushes and Kennedys.

its a shame, Mitt's not going to be able to pull it off unless he pairs with guiliani or mccain, and I think that would be quite the odd pair
