It sure would. They try to hide the real them in the first few months which makes us think everything is going good. Then BAM they show who they really are. It would eliminate a lot of surprises down the road.

The problem with that you don't know if they are telling the truth. A guy could have ten bad relationships and hit it off completely with you. Listening to his past lovers would poison your relationship going in.
Now if you can also call their other boyfriends so you can get a clue to the person doing the talking but that just get to complicated. So I will be trusting my own instincts baby.
Not such a good idea.

Not really, I think everyone hooks up with a psycho every now and then so you wouldn't know if the ex was a psycho or the potential bf/gf was psycho.

In a perfect world, sure, why not.
But in this world, the old flame will torch your new love boat. Rather not chance it.

People would not pay attention. I talked to my ex-husbands 1st wife after we had split. We had basically the same story. She had called once while we were dating and I happened to answer, She said I sounded so nice and she wanted to warn me. I would not have listened to her then I would have thought she was a jealous b---- just trying to cause trouble. I had to learn for myself. We have to learn for ourselves.

That's a horrible idea if I had to hand out that type of information.
I don't think I'd get another first date.

Oh, please don't call my ex boyfriends. I'd enjoy doing that with someone I'm about to go out with but I would NOT want it done to me.
