Although my favorite band right now has got to be Fall Out Boy, the greatest band in the history of bands is The Rolling Stones or The Beatles. Both are legends and if anybody says otherwise, you don't know a THING. You don't have to like their music, you just have to acknowledge their legendry. =) But the classic rock bands such as Black Sabbath, AC/DC, and KISS are good too.

At this moment in time I believe it is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They have a real art element to their music and it appeals to people of various ages. Deep yet funky! Unlike U2 who are shallow and take themselves way too seriously (eh Bono?)
