In some ways probably yes. I'm no Psyche major, but i would think that you can tell a bit about a person. Not as far as the content of each specific show, but the type of show in general. People who watch shows full of adventure and action, may be of the adventurous type. A person who watches shows with alot of drama may be more serious, or an emotional type. Animated shows may be a sign of the person with a more child like side. Someone who watches a variety of shows as you do, may be a bit more complicated. With a wide sort of characteristics, someone who can probably fit into about any kind of atmoshere
.

Yes and no, that's true the person watching lost and ER has a different personality but you can't really tell as shows usually, even if it's not what you like, are addictive. I discovered several shows which weren't the ones I'd have watched if it depended only on me and I loved some I didn't even care about before. And I know of some shows I didn't watch which may be very interesting to me.

My shows : friends, family guy, lost, the 4400

I think that it says that you watch whatever is heavily advertised. While this is not a bad thing and these shows are critically praised, nothing in there is exactly out of the ordinary or unpopular. Also, there seem to be two distinct forms of comedy fans now: those who enjoy sitcoms with laugh-tracks such as the ones you mentioned and those who can't stand laugh tracks and prefer comedies that are shot in a documentary-style such as Arrested Development, The Office (BBC and NBC), Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Extras.

I'm not sure that really matters, since I watch what is entertainment for me at the time. If the program doesn't put me to sleep, I must have been interested. This could fall into any category.
