My 18-pound fur ball is sleeping on the couch in my den and it is snoring...although it actually sounds more like wheeze.

EIGHTEEN freakin' pounds! Holy kitty cat! No wonder he snores. I don't have a cat right now but my doggie snores. Bud, the Sheltie. It vibrates really well having to go through that loooonnnngggg snout of his.

I would imagine when a cat becomes overweight, just as an human that some of the overweight factors that make us snore would make them snore.

Yes - our cat snores too LOL Cracks me up - he's twice as big as our dog and snores too.

My cat does this too but I think he has respiratory problems. He is also overweight. And he sneezes a lot. I think he's allergic to cat dander.
