No and No and No. You have such a long life ahead of you ? Do you want to survive on menial jobs, come home to a cheap apartment, and be totally exhausted every day. That is exactly the life most high school drop outs have . Very few rise above the poverty level. Many work two jobs. I encourage you to make the wise decision with the realization that someday you will be taking care of yourself.... do you any idea how you can do that if you have no education? Life is all about choices.... make the smart and responsible one here.

I think Citicop's answer sums up the bottom line. Financially, you won't be able to make it as a dropout.
Dropping out of school is a very adult decision--in that no one can truly pay for this choice except the person making it. Are you mature enough to drop out of school? Well, not if you can't even make the choice on your own. No, you still have things to learn...and school is the place where you should start.

Why would you want to do that? It will limit the jobs you are able to get for the rest of your life, and even in the jobs you can get, they will find out you dropped out, and they will think they can't count on you to finish anything, so you won't go very far. Finish school. Sure, it's difficult, but good things seldom come without some difficulty.

No- especially if you're in high school. The job market is the most competitive it's ever been.
When you finish school, you don't have to go to a university. If there's something you're interested, you can go to a trade school instead. It's a great way to get into something fast with out having to do a 4 year degree if that isn't an option you wish to pursue.

Absolutely not. If you dislike school, you can't begin to imagine how much you will hate the life you will have to live without a decent education. When you have to worry about making enough to live off of every week, when you see people in newer cars and yours is in the shop again, when you can't afford to take even a modest vacation, when you have to just take whatever your jerk of a boss hands you becasue you NEED that crappy job, and when you need medical attention but can't afford to get it without having to ask for help (even though you work hard every day)--then you'll know how crappy life can be and you'll regret not sticking it out just a little bit longer. I promise you, life without an education stinks alot worse than the boredom you're probably facing at school right now.

If you are going to drop outta school you better have a pretty good plan on what you are going to do. If your going to school for a reason then i'd continue going, but if your not sure what your doing then you may be taken classes that you don't need and your wasting your time. I'd have a goal on what you want and don't settle for anything less, maybe temporarily but always hold strong to that goal.

How old are you, what grade have you completed? If you are talking high school, you cannot get even a very low paying job without that diploma. If you are sick of school, and have finished high school, a "gap" year can be very useful in finding your path. However, you need to use that gap to your advantage, get a job, do volunteer work to see how things work in the world, and work on a hobby to help you identify your passion.
Good luck!

Yes!!
If you've already learned the basics, the essentials, by all means drop out.
School is nothing more than brainwashing and indoctrination that prepares you to go out and be a modern day, robotic, unthinking, automoton, technologically, psychologically managed and manipulated slave for the corporate business class or the government!
It's definitely not necessary to go to school to survive and become rich, the founder of Pay Pal is now a multi billionaire who, by the way, dropped out of high schoo/or college. Like wise for Bill Gates, founder and owner of Microsoft!
So you see going to school doesnt garauntee you a better future in fact it could ruin it!!
If you do drop out wait until youv'e learned the basics so that you are not totally lost; but for the most part school is nothing more than mental hijacking!
If you dont believe me just look at the society we live in; we are all running around like rats under the psycho-dramatic spell of super wealthy, rich perverts!!
Teach yourself! Dont follow the heard and you will be surprised at what you can make of yourself without the contamination of INSTITUTIONALIZED MIS-education!

Stay in school...play their game...get the grades...and get out, and get on with your life.
Do you have any idea what it is that you want to do with your life?
If you don't then you'll probably be stuck flippin' burgers the rest of your life...or at least until your arthritisis is so bad that you can't flip burgers anymore.
