You won't lactate until after the baby is born. It actually takes a day or two after childbirth for the milk to come in- before that, you will only have colustrom for your baby. You may start leaking very small amounts of colustrom in your third trimester.
Check out breastfeeding. com. It's a great site.
As for now, the breast growth is normal. It'll slow down, too. Congratations!

u won;t lactate until baby's born as ur breasts need a hormone that is released the moment u go in2 labour 2 produce milk. i think what u were worrying abt was 'leaky breasts' oh the joys...i'll warn u now, DONT WEAR WHITE! lol. anywayz, mine hav bin havin a very fun time embrassing me since i was 23 weeks, im now 27 weeks pregnant. so u've got AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGES..lucky. oh, when u do start leakin, wear the breast pads that hav a bit 2 stick on2 the inside of ur bra or they'll go walkies, u won't notice, n u'll get the horrible wet patches!
one thing. since u've already started 2 grow (my dear u will b HUGE) don't wear underwired bra's. i found out the hard way y not 2 n all i can say is OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! lol

I didnt lactate until after my baby was born, but if you are worried about it, pick up some of the disposable breast pads. They dont really show through your bra, and you are always prepared for leaks.

In the third trimester, I have heard of some women leaking a little. But I was pregnant for 41 weeks and never leaked a drop, so you might not either. I did grow quite a bit in my bust too.

It differs for different people.. I didn't lactate until after I had my daughter but some start at 5 months. It doesn't matter much

You prolly wont lactate until you have the baby, sometimes a yellowish sweet fluid called colostrum comes out before the baby but not with me! and honey I went from a C to a DD with my first baby...it really sucks, hopefully you started smaller....

Don't worry about breast size change. I went from 38 D to 40DD within two weeks, from 9 weeks to 11 weeks. I thought they were going to burst, but I haven't had any discharge and they haven't grown any more and I am at 25 weeks now.
Good luck!

As I recall, that happened to me late in my 3rd trimester. Not everyone leaks and the extent to which you leak also varies from person to person. It probably won't take you by surprise. I leaked mostly after the baby was born. You can put little pads in your bra to prevent embarrassment. I wouldn't worry about it.

I didn't have problems at all in any of my 3 pregnancies. You might want to get a box of breast pads just in case. I didn't grow 2 sizes. My sister gets big during pregnancy but she didn't have trouble until 6th month.
