I Absolutely Loved Twilight and New Moon Both by Stephenie Meyer. The new one doesn't come out for a while, And I want to read some books very similiar to her books. The romance, there was so much, but it never got old, it was so pure and true, and beautiful I cried seveal times. It made me feel these feelings so real that I have never felt before, and I fell in love with Bella and Edward, oh yes edward. I have read some simliar books, like companions of the night(not enough romance though), and all sarah dessen books. But still none that I truly loved as much as twilight. Please Help. I want a book kinda like it, the whole beautiful guy, and average girl, true love, suspence, and forbidden love thing.

Since you've read all of Sarah Dessen's books...which I think are the only YA romance books remotely comparable to the amazing Stephenie Meyer I would have to suggest reading the trilogy by Libba Bray. Now the third book isn't out yet, it will be out roughly the same time as Eclipse. But A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY and REBEL ANGELS are out now and are wonderful. Many Twilight fans have found great pleasure in Libba Bray's books. The fantasy. The forbidden love. The attraction. The suspense. The adventure. It's all there. I won't lie, no romance can ever equal Bella and Edward. But these books are pretty great too. The books are set in Victorian England 1895. Most of the action occurs at a boarding school. A sixteen year old girl finds out that the magic is in her. She has the power and ability to travel to other realms, to do magic, to learn magic, etc. Anyway, it's the whole good vs. evil thing. Anyway, I enjoyed the first one...it was recommended to me by the same person who recommended Twilight to me...but the second one really captured me. I was completely into it by that point.
The Uglies trilogy is good too...but I would start with Libba Bray.

(Theres a lot of books in the series but they are kind of short..dont worry) I cant stop reading them!

The Uglies books mentioned above were by Scott Westerfeld...just in case you're curious. He also wrote a couple vampire theme books called Peeps and The Last Days. They were good but not really comparable to Twilight and New Moon.
Katie MacAlister (also mentioned above) writes YA vampire stories under the name Katie Maxwell which were very good. You might like to try those. The two books in the series so far are Got Fangs? and Circus of the Darned.
Glass Houses by Rachel Caine was pretty comparable to Twilight for the suspense, action and romance. It ends in a cliffhanger but the next in the series is due out in April which isn't all that far away.
Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz is an excellent vampire themed story but not overly romantic. The sequel to this one is coming out soon as well.
The Mediator series by Meg Cabot does not have vampires in it. The story line is about a girl who can talk to ghosts and tries to get them to move on, whether they want to or not. This series is awsome! I loved it almost as much as Twilight. Lots of angst, action, humor and romance. Also, Meg Cabot has completed the series so there won't be any agonizing waits for the next one. There are six books in all.
Hope this helps!

I would have to say that your only choice would be to reread Twilight/New Moon. I just finished Twilight five minutes ago. Bought it at the airport at midnight last night, read a chapter or two, and devoured (pardon the pun) it this morning in less than an hour. No book can compare!

I am in love with Edward. I can't wait untill Stephenie puts out his version of Twilight called Midnight Sun. (She already has the first chapter posted on her website http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/otherprojects_midnightsun.html ) And i also thought Meg Cabot's Mediator series is also great and it's about a girl who falls in love with a ghost.

Look up Katie MacCallister. She writes a lot of fantasy romance. They are *amazing* books. Perfect balance of everything.
I loved Twilight and New Moon as well. So good.

I am reading twilight now...and love it!
As for other similiar stories about ordinary girls you should check out TITHE and VALIANT by Holly Black. They are set in an underworld, fairy setting and have awesome creatures and characters in which the "plain" girl begins to love, fall in love with and loathe..there is forbidden love, suspense the whole thing you are looking for...they are great and by the time you read them, her 3rd book IRONSIDE should be out. Happy reading!
