The stupid vacuum bag just came detatched when I was vacuuming and all kinds of dust just blew into the air. I'm getting a headache. What's a good way to get rid of the dust in the air? I don't have an air filter.

You can try the window thing for sure but my experience has been the best thing to do in such a situation is to replace the bag on the vac and go sit down for an hour or so (or do some other chore you need to do) and let the dust settle. Get it going again by vacuuming and away you go. Gravity is your friend in these kinds of things.
Good luck!

open 2 windows in your house, one at each end, place a fan blowing out one of the windows, it should draw fresh air in the far window and blow it out the one with the fan in it. If its kind of windy the air may do it on its own but you need to have at least 2 windows open so there can be cross flow.

Get some fans going. Put one in an open window and face the the fan outdoors so it blows the dust outward.

I can sympathize with that!

You might try running a fan to help disperse it, and open a window to help with the same thing. Otherwise, you about have to wait it out.
