I think it will be like the last dollar coin the sacagowa one, it wont last long and people hardly ever use them but i want one. I worked at one store for 1 and a half years and only 1 person ever used them to pay with!

I live in Canada and have been using one dollar coins for years, they are not that bad. They do not weigh you down. When you get a few in your pocket, use them to pay for your coffee or smokes, whatever you would have used small bills for.
It is a good way for the country to save some money, they last longer. It is also a good way for most people to save some money, put them in a jar, roll them up, when you go to the bank deposit them to your account.

They will be like the last Dollar they tried. It won't make it into general circulation because the banks won't stock them and have them if you ask for them. Try asking a bank for a half-dollar even, they will even laugh at you, a Dollar won't be any different.

as long as they don't get rid of the dollar bill...coins suck cus you might confuse it with another coin. I did that with the susan b anthony dollar and gave it away as a quarter
