My wife and I were seperated and she applied for an order of protection. I went to court to argue against it and was told that they would reset the hearing. Later my wife said she dropped it, and she called wanting to reconcile. We moved back together for 5 months and the argueing continued. I am now being charged with violating the order of protection. She apparently didn't drop the matter. After living together for 5 month is the order still valid. I was never notified of the reset date for the order of protection.

IT MAYBE VALID UNTIL THE TWO OF YOU GO TO COURT, TO SEE AND HEAR WHAT THE JUDGE HAS TO SAY. IN THE
MEAN TIME, TRY TO BE CAREFUL, ABOUT HOW YOU GET A
ROUND YOUR WIFE. I SAY THIS WITH EXTREME CARE AND
CAUTION. BECAUSE I WOULDNT WANT YOU TO GO TO JAIL
OR GET INTO TROUBLE. SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO
PLAY SNEAKY AND DIRTY, JUST TO BE DOING IT. IF IT WER
E ME, I WOULD BE VERY CAREFUL IN HOW I TRUST HER IN
ANYWAY. I DO BELIEVE THAT ALL WOMEN ARE NOT AS VIN
DICTIVE AND UNTRUST WORTHY, AS SHE SEEMS TO BE? I
TRY NOT TO TAKE SIDES, WHENEVER THERES AN ISSUE O
N THE TABLE, THAT NEEDS WORKING OUT.ITS SOMEWHAT
PLAIN TO SEE WHO THE DIRTY PLAYER IS, AND SHE WILL
EVENTUALLY GET CAUGHT UP IN HEROWN WEB OF LIES A
ND DECEPTION. JUST BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU SAY AN
D DO AROUND HER AND OTHERS.

You should focus on the root of the arguing and why she has an order of protection. Getting to the source is more effective than treating the symptoms. If you are getting physically abusive with her, you are getting what you deserve. If she is neurotic and verbally abusive, you just have to take it and be a righteous leader. You can get a lawyer and fight the order. You will have a strong case since you moved back and lived together for 5 months. But if you were physically abusive, you will lose.

I am not a lawyer but I do know that you have to be served with the papers stating that you have an order of protection against you. You would actually have to sign for the papers sot hat there is a record that you recieved them. I would call an attorney and ask them for more legal advice. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help- but get FREE legal advice- you may be able to do all the paper work by yourself. Good luck
