The girl who played Terri quit and they didnt want to replace her so the stories they say on the show is that her parents didnt think the school was safe so they sent her to a private school

In Season 3, the episode "Don't Dream It's Over", Rick gets angry and knocks Terri down. She hits her head on a rock and is knocked unconscious. She goes into a coma and we never really know what happens to her.

After she got out of the hospital her father transferred her to a private school. A couple characters were supposed to mention it after the new season started without her but it was cut before the episode aired.

I think she died or is still in a coma, because there has been no sign of her for a few seasons. I am not sure, but she just kind of faded away.

she never came back from her comas..so i think they wrote her out of the cast.
