Has anyone heard how the next WoT book is progressing. I read that he has been sick, but am still looking forward to the next book.
I'm not one of the people that thinks the story is getting too drawn out. I love it and really wish it would never end.
Anyway, any news would be great!

i heard he has sum disease but hes planning on the next book being out 2008..and then hes gonna write 2 more prequels...i rlly hope its early '08 cuz im DYING to know what happens!! lol i got kinda bored in parts of sum of the books, but im surprised that i still love it...after 10 books!

The "Sick" Rumor has been circulating for a LONG time. i havne't heard he was sick...i heard he got really ill after writing book 6, and thats why 7-10 took so long to come out. i thought books 7-9 really bogged down the series. he seems to be back on track now, and rumor also has it (From him directly) that the next book will be the very last in the series.
then again, maybe that rumor was started by the same person who said he's sick. :)

HUGE Robert Jordan fan... http://www.tor.com/jordan/ is a great website for updated news (and actually gives you a bit more info on him being ill. www.dragonmount.com is another good site. I'm not holding my breath for the next book though...
