I know you don't want to hear this, but you can't and you shouldn't even try because that is against the acceptable use policy at your school. They have sites blocked for a reason and trying to bypass their security will get you banned from using any of their computers and probably even suspended or expelled. They track everything you do and you will get caught.

Your mail can wait in till home time regardless of how desperate you are to check your "1" new message.

Alot depends on the environment. If you can change the DNS settings to a different server (4.2.2.1 for example) you might get around some blocking. sometimes knowing the IP address of the site may work. More likely, the device blocking the site is blocking both the IP address and the Domain name.

The only workaround would be set up a computer outside the network (a home pc, for example) and log in to that PC remotely using something like Remote Desktop Connection or Gotomypc.

A possible workaround would involve using an online translation page like altavista babelfish - the idea is you have babelfish translate the page, since it doesn't actually go to the domain on your computer, but rather at the server side - it might work.

Let me guess...you are on your schools computer and their network is blocking you??

There is obviously a reason why they don't allow certain websites. Try finishing your schoolwork and checking your email from your own PC or a library.

I think you can do it by using some online proxies and anonymizers. Try googlng for free online anonymizers to find some.
